Combining Business & Tourism for the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce

Objective

The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce needed a new, mobile-friendly website that satisfied multiple audiences. The site serves both as website and directory for the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and as a resource for residents and tourists both in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, and surrounding towns on Cape Cod. 5 Horizons was chosen through a competitive process to create an entirely new site.

Goals

Outcomes

Since launching the website, Yarmouth has had economic growth of 7%, more than double that of any other town on the Cape.

  • Dramatic increase in website traffic, from less than 1,000 users per month to more than 10,000 users per month, with continued growth
  • Economic growth of 7% since website launch, more than double what other towns on the Cape have experienced during the same time
  • Chamber staff maintain site, updating images, notices and advertisements independently with support from 5 Horizons as contracted
